Terms of Use

Who we are

Pit Box is provided by Mykhailo Dudar, an individual developer based in Ukraine (“we”). These terms are an agreement between you and us.

What Pit Box is

Pit Box is an app for auto service shops and independent mechanics. It keeps orders, clients, cars, payments and service history in one place, for one person or a whole team.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and use Pit Box for your work or business.
• Use a real email you have access to, and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account is for one person. Invite your team instead of sharing a login.

Your data

Everything you enter into a garage belongs to that garage. We use it only to run the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it and delete it at any time.

Your clients' data

When you store your clients' names, phone numbers and cars, you decide what to keep and why. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to store it and for telling your clients about it where the law requires. We process this data only on your behalf and under your instructions, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement (pit-box.app/dpa), which is part of these terms.

Teams

The garage owner decides who joins the garage and what each member can see and do. When a member leaves, the clients and orders they created stay with the garage. The owner can hand the garage over to another member.

What you can't do

• Use Pit Box for anything illegal, or store content you have no right to store.
• Try to access other garages' data or get around permissions.
• Send spam or unwanted invitations.
• Disrupt the service, overload it, or copy, decompile or resell the app.

Plans and payments

The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is a paid subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. You will see the price and billing period before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

If Pro comes with a free trial, the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. If we change the price of Pro, we'll tell you in advance, and Apple or Google will ask for your consent where their rules require it.

When a Pro subscription ends, your garage moves to the Free plan. All your data stays. Pro features are switched off, and team members lose access to the garage until Pro is renewed.

We may change what each plan includes. If a change takes away something you use, we'll tell you in the app in advance.

Availability

We work to keep Pit Box running and your data safe, but the app is provided as it is, and there may be interruptions or bugs. Keep your own copies of documents you are required to keep by law, such as invoices.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost clients or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Pit Box in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Pit Box and delete your account at any time in the app: Account tab → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why when we can.

If we close your account, except in cases of serious abuse, we'll give you at least 30 days to export your data first. If we ever shut down Pit Box, we'll give at least 60 days' notice.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Ukraine, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Before going to court, please write to hello@pit-box.app so we can try to resolve it first.

App Store

If you got Pit Box from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and Pit Box, not Apple.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes let you know in the app. If you keep using Pit Box after that, the new terms apply.
